A dream you can make come true
Each Sacolinha do Bem is lovingly prepared and personally delivered to children and young people who attend our Transformation Centers in the sertão, the semi-arid backlands of northeastern Brazil. More than gifts, they are symbols of affection, encouragement and hope.
What's inside
What goes in the Sacolinha
The Sacolinhas do Bem (gift bags) are filled with new items and carry the love and care of the person making the donation. To receive a bag, the child must commit to being a dedicated student, keeping up attendance at school and at our Transformation Centers. This is a way of encouraging children and young people to stay on the path of education, so they can progress and build a new future.
Clothes
T-shirt, shorts, trousers and dress.
Underwear
Briefs or panties, as many as you can donate.
Socks
As many pairs as you can donate.
Footwear
Sneakers, flip-flops.
