Medical Care
Monthly consultations and task-force clinics with volunteer doctors and specialists in various fields.
How We Transform
In the sertão, the shortage of doctors, the distance to hospitals and the lack of basic infrastructure cause treatable diseases to worsen. To face this challenge, teams of volunteer doctors, dentists and specialists travel every month to serve the communities.
Care includes consultations, task-force clinics, dental care, ophthalmology, telemedicine, medicines, ambulances, a mobile unit and family follow-up through the Cartão do Bem Saúde.

How we work
Every month, volunteer doctors provide care at the Health Centers and in task-force clinics in the villages. Specialties such as general practice, pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, dermatology, vascular medicine and others expand access to care that was once far from families' reality.
What happens here
How we work
Oral health is handled by dental offices equipped for fillings, extractions, cleanings, root canals, dentures and emergency care. Ophthalmology offers eye exams and glasses. The free distribution of medicines ensures continuity of treatment.

Help keep care, medicines and continuous follow-up going for families who live far from health services.
